Pipe caps and dished ends – to EN 10253 and ASME B16.9
We supply seamless pipe caps and dished ends for industrial piping systems and pressure vessels – from our own production and targeted sourcing. From standard caps in non-alloy steels to special designs in duplex, P91 or nickel alloys – compliant with standards, documented and delivered on time.
Manufacturing & properties
Our pipe caps and dished ends are manufactured from seamless pipes or plates and are cold- or hot-formed depending on the material, dimensions and requirements. Forming is carried out using pressing and forming processes that ensure uniform wall thickness distribution and high dimensional accuracy. This is followed – depending on the material and application – by heat treatment and machining.
Typical designs:
Pipe caps to EN 10253 / ASME B16.9:
- Domed pipe caps – standard for pipe terminations
- Flat caps – for low-pressure applications
- Special geometries to drawing
Dished Ends:
- DIN 28011 Klöpper dished end – standard for pressure vessels in Europe
- DIN 28013 torispherical dished end – flatter design, space-saving
- Hemispherical end – for high-pressure applications
- Flat end – for low-pressure vessels
- Conical end – for silos and vessels with outlet
All designs are also available in special dimensions and special alloys on request.
