We supply pipe fittings for conventional and renewable power plants, process steam systems, CCGT plants, as well as district heating and industrial steam systems – from our own production and supplementary procurement.

Requirements in Energy Systems

Piping components in power plants must function reliably for decades under cyclic temperature and pressure loads. Accordingly, the demands on materials, design, and manufacturing quality are high.

The technical design is based on relevant regulatory frameworks such as EN 13480 and AD 2000, as well as the European Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU. In the international context, ASME B31.1 sets the standard for power plant piping. Additionally, national regulations such as the Technical Rules for Steam Boilers (TRD) and VdTÜV data sheets are applied.

For material selection and quality, standards such as EN 10028 and EN 10216 are also crucial, especially for heat-resistant pressure vessel steels in high-temperature applications.

Depending on the application, various materials are used, including:

  • Nickel-based alloys (e.g., Inconel, Monel)

Quality & Documentation

In energy systems, quality assurance and documentation are a central part of the requirements.

Our components are manufactured and tested within the framework of our quality management system according to DIN EN ISO 9001.

For applications with increased wall thickness requirements, we supply Elbows and Tees according to EN 10253-2 Type B – with full proof of t-, ts-, and tb-dimensions as part of the inspection documentation.

Furthermore, we comply with relevant regulatory frameworks such as AD 2000 and the Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU (PED).

Upon request, we supply:

  • Test certificates according to EN 10204 (3.1 / 3.2)
  • Non-destructive testing (NDT)
  • PMI analyses
  • External approvals (e.g., TÜV, SGS)
